Protein Sausage Maple Muffins

Protein maple syrup sausage muffins

Time: 42 minutes

Servings: makes 12 extremely large muffins

👏🏻what you need:

•1 lb breakfast sausage

•2 cups bobs red mill waffle / pancake protein mix

•1.5 cup water

•1.5 cups of sharp shredded cheddar cheese, divided into 1 cup and 1/2 cup

•1/4 cup of maple syrup + some for drizzle and serving!

❤️what to do:

•preheat oven to 400 degrees F

•brown your sausage and drain the grease

•combine in a large bowl cooked sausage, pancake mix, water, 1 cup cheese, 1/4 cup maple syrup & mix until very well combined

•in a greased muffin pan, scoop batter into muffin tins

•top with a drizzle of maple syrup and the rest of your cheese

•put in oven for 15-20 until golden brown

•optional: dip into maple syrup while eating, 100/10 👏🏻
