One Pan French Onion Beefy Rice

Serves ~6

💕what you need:

•2 tbsp butter

•1-1.5 lbs ground beef

•2 large onions - sliced thinly

•1 tbsp of minced garlic

•1 cup rice (not cooked)

•2 cups beef bone broth

•1.5-2 cups shredded Gruyère cheese

•1/4 tsp of rosemary

•1/4 tsp of thyme

•salt & pepper to taste

🥰what to do:

•preheat your oven to 375* F

•slice your onions as thin as possible

•in a hot (oven safe) skillet at your butter and let it melt over medium/high heat - then add all your onions

•let onions caramelize for 20 minutes until golden brown - stirring regularly

•add beef to skillet & brown

•once beef is brown add garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper.

•add your rice & let toast for 1 minute over medium high heat

•add your bone broth & stir

•let mixture boil & then stick in the oven

•let cook for 15 minutes - then remove from oven & add cheese

•cook for an additional 10 minutes!
