Roasted Garlic Balsamic Honey Brussels

What you need:

•1 lb of beef - browned & seasoned *seasonings below

•1 small onion diced

•1/2- 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese (or whatever cheese you prefer!)

•1 can siete refried beans - they are THE best.

•a pack of tortillas - your preference - recipe makes 8 thiiickk crispitos - but could easily make more if you don’t fill them it the brim 😊

•avocado spray oil - we only use chosen foods - elite!

seasonings for beef:

•Real talk - I measured with my heart the salt, pepper, OP & GP, cumin & chili powder - if you’re into that great! If you want something more measured grab a taco seasoning packet - siete brand is our favorite!

What to do:

Dice your onion & put your ground beef in a hot pan! Let brown about half way before adding seasonings & onions. Then, cook until brown & done.

Grab your air fryer & preheat it to 380 F.

Then assemble the crispitos!! With a knife, spread a layer of your refried beans on tortilla (the great news is that this can be as thin or as thick as you want - your house your rules!). Then add your beef, then add your cheese, rooollll it up (continue this process until you’ve created however many you want (depending on your tortilla size & how much filling you put in there!).

Now, your air fryer should be ready to roll. Place your air fryer parchment sheet in the basket (if you don’t have I highly recommend) and spray the bottom with avocado oil (just a nice little coat). Then, put your crispitos in there! This is important - spray with avocado spray until WELL coated - you don’t want them drenched but you do want them coated (this is what really helps the crunch factor). Then cook at 380 for 8 minutes & serve! We served ours with a homemade Mexican rice but it would be great with chips & queso, elotes, guacamole- you name it!
