Skillet Maple Syrup Sausage & Brussel Sprouts

Maple Brussels & sausage
‼️what you need:
•2 tbsp of olive oil - divided
•2 tsp of garlic
•1 lb ground sausage of choice - we used Italian and it was YUM
•1-1.5 lbs of shaved brussels
•2-3 tsp of maple syrup
•salt & pepper
•a base to put this over (or just eat the whole skillet!) we did buttered noodles! Roasted potatoes would be yummy or orzo!
😍what to do:
•in a skillet over high heat add 1 tbsp
•brown your sausage into little crumbles - you can drain if you want! I drained the grease about 85%
•push your sausage over to one side of the skillet and on the empty side add your other tbsp of oil & garlic & sautee for a minute
•then add shaved brussels to that spot & let sit for 1-2 minutes
•combine sausage and brussels and cook until brussels are soft! (3-5)
•turn to low heat and add maple syrup & spices to taste - serve over your base!
