Roasted Garlic Balsamic Honey Brussels

Creamed spinach pasta bake

What you need:

•12 ounces of spinach (at least!)

•pasta of preference (16 oz box)

•3 tbsp of butter (unsalted preferred)

•1 onion - diced

•1-2 tbsp of garlic - your preference

•garlic & onion powder & salt & pepper - your preference

•1 tbsp of flour

•1 cup milk (we have 2%)

•1 - 1.5 cup grated parm

What to do:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees! And then get your water boiling for your pasta. Next, grab a large oven safe skillet. Over medium heat - melt butter & then add garlic & onion. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until translucent. Add salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder. Then gently whisk in 1 tbsp of flour. Stir for about 30 seconds to a 1 minute. Then, slowly add in your milk!

Let it come to a slow boil & reduce heat - stirring until the mixture has thickened and can coat the back of a spoon. Now, add 3/4 cup of cheese & whisk until well combined. Make sure this mixture is thick & can still coat your spoon. Once thickened, add your spinach in groups & stir until nicely wilted. Give a good stir & top with some parm & place in the oven for 10 minutes.

Once your pasta is al dente - drain & set to the side. After the 10 minutes are up, pull out your skillet & add the pasta & stir well! Coat with the rest of your shredded parm (never can have too much in my opinion!) and stick back into oven for 10 minutes or until bubbling! Serve with your protein of choice or no protein at all!
